KANBURI

My family went to HIMI in Toyama to eat the delicious KANBURI!!
HIMI is said that the good BURIS through the country gather.

Sashimi,teriyaki,nimono....
We have enjoyed our fill of KANBURIS.
They are in season now and really tasty~~
They don't taste fishy at all and
are most delicious I have ever eaten!

After all the fresh fishes are the best^o^
Thank you my father!

Valentine arrangement^-^

I made a Valentine arrangement by using the passionate red flowers.
Do you see? The 2 kinds roses make the shape of a heart~~
It's very cute^^.

Do you know what sort of flower arranged in the center?
It's,say,,, a tulip!!
It is a variety of tulip named "ALADIN".
There are many forms of tulip,aren't there!?

The pretty V.T arrangement was finished!!
The peanut design of vase is also nice,isn't it!?
It's suitable for arranging a flower or putting a mini foliage plant!

By the way,As for Valentine's day...
In Japan, It's common a woman presents chocolate for a man.
In England,It's custom a man presents red roses,a symbol of immortal love,for a woman.
It's interesting the special nature of life in any country subsists
in its customs.

Flute recital

My sister takes flute lessons.
Today was my sister's flute recital.
I and my mother went to hear it in the Tokyo FM Hall.

They played a "Edelweiss" and "Annie Laurie(Scotland folksong)".
The mellow sound of a flute feels comfortable.
It's so beautiful tone.

They played their music very well!!
We were very impressed^-^.
And my sister was really calm and graceful.
I saw a different side of her. Good luck on the wedding performance next month^o^

SETUBUN!!

Setubun is the day before the start of spring.
Mamemaki is bean-scattering ceremony.



We throwed roasted soybeans inside and outside our houses
with a cry of "Fuku wa uchi,Oni wa soto!!"
After throwing beans, we ate the same number of beans as our age,
and faced the direction of good luck and grabed rolled sushi making wishes.
Setubun is an enjoyable event^o^
My family enjoyed it and prayed for good health & better fortune of the year!
(On Setubun, Oni isn't only terrible,but also funny and sometimes friendly^^:)
According to the calendar, Setubun is the 1st day of spring!
I am impatient for spring~~
