Halloween!!

knock,knock,knock....
You open the door and there stands one or more children
standing in some sort of costume, highly excited
and all screaming at the top of their lungs..."TRICK or TREAT!!"

Today is Halloween!!^o^
It's a tradition celebrated on the night of Oct.31,by children
dressing in costumes and going door-to-door collecting sweets.

Halloween's older spelling "Hallowe'en" is shortened from
"All-hallow-even", as it's the evening before "All Saints' Day"
that is a Catholic day of observance in honor of saints,
such as the Bon festival in Japan.

As for Halloween,
we associate with fancy costume and pumpkin lantern!
By dressing as GHOSTS,WITCHES,MONSTERS...etc,
the evil spirits(demons) wandering around the houses
is surprised and driven!!
Pumpkin lantern is known as "Jack-O-Lantern".
The fearsome face of the jack-o-lantern was representative
of the God of the dead who would drive off less powerful
evil spirits abroad that night.

The word "Jack-O-Lantern" comes from the Irish tale.
In the tale, a man named Jack was fond of playing tricks
on the devil.
Annoyed, the devil tossed Jack a burning coal from hell.
With the coal in his "lantern", Jack was condemned to walk
the earth forever searching for rest.

That reason is the jack-o-lantern is a Halloween idol
that keeps alive an anciant symbol of demonic superstition.

By the way, the symbol of Halloween is....In America it's a pumpkin,
but in In Europe it's often a turnip,large beet,potato,rutabaga
or even a skull with a candle in it!?

Anyway,Halloween originated from a festival among the Celts
is the event both adult&child can enjoy,
and it is celebrated all over the world^-^.

I had a chance to visit America just at the Halloween season before.
A lot of Halloween goods were on display in the shops,
and Halloween events were held everywhere.
I could see the houses decorated with Halloween,too.

The town was full of Halloween mood.
The street turned Black&Orange that are traditional colors
of Halloween.
Feeling over the festival had run high in town!!
In this evening, many of people in the world
may be excited by the Halloween party~^.^

My house had a small Halloween party!!
As lighting the candle of Halloween,
We ate tonight's dinner, pampukin gratin,
pampukin soup, pampukin cake...and so on!

Home party & Live!!

I visited my friend's new home
with my university friends.
The view from her home,high mansion
in Shibaura, was very good!!
A splendid view unfolded before our eyes!!
We stood in admiration of the view for a minute.
The interior and objets were also in excellent taste
and it was very nice home^o^.

My friend gave us quite a good lunch.
Her cooking was very good!
The baked bread on anchovy&cheese was delicious~~^^
We really enjoyed the meal,thank you!

And the B.D cake suddenly served...!!!
with candle & name plate!
I was very glad>_<.
Thank you a lot for my friends.


The strawberry short cake was so good,wasn't it!?
We enjoyed home party very much.Thank you for invitation!
I was dissapointed not to meet Mat today><.
I'm looking forward to seeing him next time.

In the night, I went to the live my acquaintance plays.
My acquanintance who was playing the trumpet
in the group looked very happy^o^.
The live warmed up and our feelings were elevated!
We had a delightful time at the live!

It was my birthday this week.
I received some original cards,massages,flowers,
and gifts from my friends.
I was glad that they remember my B.D,
and I'm grateful that I have such thoughtful friends!

French Dinner!!

I went to French Restaurant with my friend.
The popular restaurant in Ebisu that
isn't so large had a quiet and homey atmosphere.
The service was pretty good and
we could have an excellent food & a good dinner time!

The course dinner was every hearty.
We were full up!
Um....even so, the ice-cream with salt
was interested~~^o^.

Flower arrangemet

Today's arrangement, "Diamond Style",
is the classic & elegant shape that is often uesed
at a ceremonial occation.
The yellow roses produce a gentle atomosphere~~

Fishing(*^-^*)

Fishing is often called "King of hobbies".
It may be because many factors of interest
are mixed in it.
It's outdoor of facing nature,sport of using a body,
hobby of be addicted to the fishing tackles&collection,
game of enjoying a guess.... and so on.
I think fishing is the deep play.

This time,I first challenged fishing!!
The boat sailed from Misaki Port at the early morning.
It rolled heavily in the high waves.
At first,we were excited at the feeling like an attoraction in TDL.
But we gradually has feeled sickness at our stomach><.

The only fine captain^^led to the point & explained the way for fishing.
The use of the fishing tackles and the way to get a timing were very difficult.
The fish wasn't caught easily -.-
Fishing is like the game that pits the wits against a creature
in the natural world, so the result hasn't be made easily.
It was hard beyond the imagination.

You will be impressed all the more when you hook a fish
because it's hard,won't you!?

Sadly, though I couldn't catch a fish,
I could enjoy the peculiar atmosphere of fishing
and see very fresh fishes jumping & kicking only just fished
for the first time in my life.

The relish of fishing in the sea is eating the fishes you have hooked!!
Do you know WARASA, a child of BULI?
I hear this is the best season for WARASA.
I received a share of it.
The fresh fish was rich and very delisious!

I was happy to have a valuable experience^o^

On our way home,we saw a beautiful ray of sun from the car window!!
The sun's rays radialy come filtering through the clouds
is said "LADDER OF ANGEL" in the West.
It was really beautiful scene, wasn't it!?

It was fine day! As listening to the good song of KOBUKURO,
I could enjoy a pleasant drive too! Thanks a lot for good time^o^

TAKESHI CASTLE!?

Do you remember "TAKESHI CASTLE"
broadcasted on TBS in the past.
The driving range where I went golf practicing today
is the site of "TAKESHI CASTLE" in Machida.


The driving range TBS run was interested~
Many bills of TV program and variety show are put!
The golf-ball with TBS logo and
TBS original golf goods sold there were pretty^o^

Many flower arrangement

I didn't show flower arrangement recently,I pot togeter here.

[Vertical design]
This desigh is classic style.
It's arrnged by vertical and straight line.
By arranging the flowers toward the top stright,
it seems to be sharp.
I like such a smart & sharp arrangement!!
The quiet carnations and pale pink roses are very pretty,
aren't they!?

[Basket arrangement]
The basket design is the most suitable for the gift.
The bouquet only baund is beautiful,
and so is the flower arrnanged little.


I spread a cellophane paper in the basket, set oasis, arrange flowers,
and finally have a pink ribbon in the flower arrangemet.
The pretty basket style finishs!!

[Triangle arrangement]
Do you see what sort of flowers arranged in the center??
They are very chic color of sunflowers!!
I haven't see such a strange color of sunflower before now.
Though they make a great impact on the flower arrngement,
they match with light flowers.
Do you think so???

The Cloth Sanda l^o^

Yuko,the junior to me at the office,
brought the sandals that are her mother own work
for her colleagues.

Her mother made them by using the material
of the used clothes.
So the many kinds of sandals are made!
They are all the colorful and pretty^o^

In addition, they are very comfortable to put on & washing is OK!!
Nice hand-made sandals!!! They are very cute, aren't they!?
